a self-taught photographer and independent visual storyteller. since 2010, my work has explored the intersections of daily life, social dynamics, and cultural identity across multiple continents. I combine photojournalism, portraiture, in-camera multiple exposure and diptych to capture the unspoken in the visible.

Origins & Approach
originally trained in Human Resources, I took a turn into photography while traveling in South East Asia. what started as curiosity gradually turned into long-term documentary practice — intimate, slow, and often non-intrusive. My work is rooted in presence: walking, observing, listening and eliminating personal barriers. Over time, the tool became an archive and a space for reflection and visual storytelling
Projects, Exhibitions & Collaborations
since 2012, I have been developing a distinct body of work rooted in long-term observation and cultural engagement. My first exhibition, Underneath The Surface, was presented at Darb1718 in Cairo. It was in collaboration with Nana Kreutzmann. It was sponsored by the Danish Embassy.
in Antananarivo, I co-founded Zanaky Ny Lalana a photography collaborative to raise awareness on the streets of the capital Antananarivo. Throughout my sejour I produced key solo exhibitions such as SarySahy and Tsena Mora, exploring themes of identity, social rhythm, and urban life.

Additionally, I take part in group exhibitions and residencies. These include Être[b]elle as part of the exhibition Malagasy People at Fondation H with eight artists. Also, Regards Croisés at the Alliance Française of Diego Suarez features twelve artists. I have produced award-winning solo installations like Tous Personne, Personne Tous with support from the African Cultural Fund. Besides long-term research projects like
#travellingarbage which is a visual inquiry into waste mobility in Madagascar. This inquiry is apropos our consumption and it’s cycle via the elements: Air, Water, Earth and Fire.
Recent Works
My last exhibition in Madagascar was a collaborative entitled Identité. It featured a series of portraits and day-to-day scenes to subjectively portray how Malagasy perceive themselves. The return to Lebanon with the war looming inspired 2ab3ad an exhibition blending personal narrative with stories from abroad.
Nowadays
I continue to explore my homeland and the wider region. I undertake projects that reflect on culture, society, environment, and transformation. Meanwhile I widen my photographic expertise to include home interiors and studio product photography.
Let’s Connect
I have several projects and ideas for projects in the pipeline treating environmental and social subjects.
